Kaatje

Childcare centre Kaatje is located on the outskirts of the quiet and green Leusderkwartier district. We are a small-scale childcare Centre with extra individual attention for each child. We also actively participate in the neighbourhood.

We understand better than anyone that it can be busy in the morning. Fortunately, childcare Centre Kaatje is easily accessible from the A28 and the Leusderweg. We also have plenty of parking space in front of the door. So you can decide for yourself if you prefer to bring your child(ren) by car, bicycle or on foot. Sometimes it might take a bit longer to pick up your child(ren), because they often just want to keep playing for a bit longer!

Our place

Our childcare centre is located next to the adjacent Fonteinkerk. Our reception location has large windows that let in a lot of sunlight. At the nursery we organise many stimulating activities. We sometimes like to imitate ‘grown-ups’ and cook in the play kitchen with real pots and pans or play dress up.

We also have a special space for babies. The little ones can play here undisturbed. There is a low mirror for many fun moments. The babies happily crawl around or sit on our staff member’s laps to relax or to cuddle. We do not only play inside, but also outside in our discovery garden!

Discovering the world

We have an educational discovery garden in which we will explore together. We look for small creatures, balance on the tree trunks and collect branches and leaves to play with. We also have our own vegetable garden. Here, the children grow their own fruit and vegetables. The children love to eat their own grown food. When we have the time we like to go to the adjacent forest Nimmerdor. The older children really enjoy playing in nature!
